Product Features

High Holding Strength
Formed high-tensile steel wire creates strong friction with the strap, delivering 500 kg to over 2,000 kg system breaking strength. It keeps heavy loads firmly secured.
Low Strap Slippage
Precision-formed wire legs increase strap contact and friction. This helps maintain tension during handling and transport.
Stable Under Vibration
Cold-formed wire geometry keeps the strap engaged under vibration and load movement. This helps prevent tension loss in transit.
Surface Protection
Galvanized or phosphated finishes protect the steel wire surface. This helps reduce deterioration during storage and transportat

Quality Control

Steel Wire: Tensile strength and chemical composition are tested before forming. Wire is released for production only when tensile properties and material composition meet the approved material specification.

Buckle Geometry: Wire diameter, buckle width, leg length and leg angles are measured with calibrated gauges after forming. Dimensions are accepted when they remain within the approved drawing tolerances.

Surface Coating: Galvanized or phosphated coating thickness is measured at defined points with a digital coating-thickness gauge. Batches are accepted when measured coating thickness meets the specified coating requirement.

Joint Performance: Batch samples are tension-tested to measure breaking strength and strap slippage. Results are recorded against the required load and slippage limits before batch release.

Pre-Shipment: Finished buckles are visually inspected for deformation, surface defects and coating damage, while cartons and pallet packing are checked for quantity and packaging integrity before shipment.

FAQ

Q: How do I choose the right buckle for my strapping system?

A: Match the buckle to the strap construction and the tensioning method used in your securing system. The buckle should provide sufficient friction and locking engagement without damaging the strap during tensioning.

Q: Can the buckle be reused after the strap is released?

A: For cargo-securing applications, buckles should normally be treated as single-use components unless the buckle remains undamaged and the securing procedure specifically permits reuse. Replace any buckle showing deformation, cracks or coating damage.

Q: Why does a strap joint lose tension during transport?

A: Tension loss can result from insufficient strap-to-buckle friction, incorrect threading, buckle deformation or movement of the secured load. Correct threading and proper tensioning help maintain the joint during handling and transit.

Q: Can this buckle be used with a pneumatic or battery-powered tensioner?

A: Yes. The buckle forms the joint while the tensioner applies load to the strap. The tensioning tool should be suitable for the strap type and width used in the securing system.

Q: What causes a wire buckle to deform during tensioning?

A: Excessive tension, incorrect strap routing or using a buckle that is not matched to the strap system can deform the wire legs. Proper strap threading and controlled tensioning help prevent deformation.

Q: How should wire buckles be stored before use?

A: Store buckles in a dry, covered area away from standing water and corrosive chemicals. Keep the original packaging intact until the buckles are required for production or cargo securing.

Q: What information should I provide when requesting a buckle quotation?

A: Provide the strap material and construction, strap width, required buckle dimensions, estimated order quantity, surface-finish requirement, packaging requirements and destination. This allows the supplier to confirm the correct product configuration and quotation.

Q: Can I replace another buckle with this heavy-duty buckle?

A: Replacement should be based on strap compatibility, buckle dimensions, joint performance and the required securing procedure rather than appearance alone. Confirm these points before changing the buckle specification in an existing cargo-securing system.
